Well I have slept in a movie theatre watching a boring movie.
I woke up only after the cleaning staff woke me up when they came for cleaning the movie hall before the next show started.
I might have missed the movie but I enjoyed a good sleep on the reclining seat in an air-conditioned hall.
Have you ever slept in a movie theatre?
How was the experience?

I don't, I always stay alert because there might be an emergency like a fire or an earthquake might occur. Some pickpocket or some sick creep might sit next to me ( it already happened when I was a teenager) I also do not watch a movie alone now.

@jayanth_77 that is a wise move to always be near the emergency exit.

@louievill yes . As people try to run out to escape incase of a fire there is always a stampede like situation and a seat closer to the exit would be life saving.

Yes you are right. It's not safe to sleep in a movie theatre. I always book my movie seat ticket closer to the exit. It will help me to escape faster.

If a movie is boring what do you do? You just walk away or play with your mobile.

@Butterfingers that's better as you can spend the time by doing some shopping and walking around the mall

@SHOHANA noise has not affect on my sleep. Only the room should be cool and the chair should be comfortable.

Haha was it a night show or what! No, I've been to the most boring movie ever but just felt so stuck. Wish I better could have fallen asleep!

No it was the afternoon show. If it would have been the last show then I would have woken up in the morning only.

I never sleep in a movie theater because I can`t relax there with too many people around.

Ok. I find the theatre relaxing and some times do sleep if the movie is not good .

I never snored and also it's never a waste of money as you are enjoying the facilities at the theatre and it's not always that I fell asleep.

Well, I never slept. Yet I do recall a few movies where after the first few minutes, I was waiting for the movie to end.
One such movie was Yaadein(2001), a Subhash Ghai production.
It starred Jackie Shroff, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor.
We went in a group on the first day of the movie, in the evening.
We were thoroughly disappointed, as we had big expectations from a big banner.
I do recall that there were perhaps a few more such movies, but never slept as such.

@jayanth_77 I find myself sleeping most during presentations or meetings where only one or two people are speaking

I am happy the my experience made you laugh. I normally I don't sleep in a theatre but if the movie is very boring then I prefer to have a short nap .
