Masks for the kids in the neighborhood

That is not a sanitary napkin in the picture. That's 50 face masks that I bought for distribution to the kids in the neighborhood. They are playing in the street everyday, toddlers up to 12 years old with no mask. Just a little public service might help prevent the spread of the virus.

I am also hoping that the kids, even the 10 to 12 years old, would be wearing. What if there would be one carrier child carrier then all those more than 15 kids would be infected.

@jayanth_77 the neighbors live in a congested area outside the invisible boundary of our village. There are 34 families there so you can imagine how many people would be infected.

@Alexandoy yes you are right. One Covid positive child is enough to spread the virus to other kids and to their family members at home. A small awareness session on Covid guidelines would be useful.

@Miracle_Maya thank you for the support. The distribution this morning was 7 masks in one pack together with jellybeans for the kids for 1 family. So there were only 7 families given.

How much is that? it cost 28 pesos in 7/11 stores. But kids are still not allowed to go outside.

That is right, I try to help in the community. It is not only the material face mask but the awareness that they should wear it. There's also some jellybeans for the kids.

The mask is said to be disposable but it can be washed. I had washed mine twice already.
