I like the way that League City Texas electrician Justin Thomas has dealt with the praise that the family of a woman who suffered a heart attack inside the Kroger grocery store on Saturday.
Justin was going to buy some milk for his children who are twins when he heard someone scream. He saw that his services were needed to make an attempt to use his first aid training skills that he learned while he served 10 years in the U S Coast Guard to keep her alive with the help of another customer until medical help arrived to take the heart attack victim to a local hospital where she is expected to make a full recovery.
The family of the heart attack victim did contact Justin for saving the life of their loved one since had no one been around to give her CPR, she would have passed away at the store.
Justin insists that he is not a hero. He was just doing his duty to assist someone in need. I like modest people.

I just did my recertification training for Red Cross CPR, AED and first aid. This kind of story makes me glad I did, although I really hope I never have to use it.

I agree with you about being prepared. Hopefully you will not have to use your training to save someone.

It's good you have trained for that. At least you have now the skill.

I agree with you since Justin is a hero even though he is modest enough to let it get to his head.

That's right. Anyone who does for humanity sake is by principle actually isn't a hero. I do agree with Justin. A good Samaritan isn't a hero.
