We usually infuse lemon or cucumber in our drinking water but this time I am making some twist. Courtesy of a friend's garden when I dropped by at her place over the weekend are some oregano leaves. I just found a new healthy drink with a refreshing smell.
Oregano leaves are best in treating colds and coughs
Had you tried infusing your dinking water with leaves or fruits?

I steam rice with five leaves of oregano.
I have the tiny oregano in my garden, too.

I have never tried them on steamed rice. That's a better way of extracting its juice. Do you have serpentina in your garden?

@florelway Yup. But I was advised not to eat the leaves because it might damage the kidney or the liver. That's what the oldies said.

@eileenleyva, I think that's true it could overwork these organs. When I tried tasting a serpentina leaf I couldn't stand the bitter taste.

How is it? First to read about this. I usually see FB friends posting about the lemon infused drinks.

@Adie04 that's nice. I want to grow some because it's not available in our market.
