Do any of your pets when they come where you are run away when you talk to them?

Sometimes my Sophie likes to follow me into a room and be with me and sometimes she will come to where I am and when I bend down she will run away. She is very entertaining. Do any of you experience when your pet comes up very close to you and then when you start talking to them they run away?

@Hannihar They met me at the door to greet me when I came home from work. Rascal was so excited he would dance around in circles. Pip did the same thing, met me at the door tail wagging. She didn't dance in circles. But she would smile and wag her tail.

The cat known as Raton Ramon and The Pain like to run away from me when I get close to them. They are a brother and sister duo.

Nico usually likes to have me around..and likes to be in the same room, but he is not big on being petted.

@Hannihar He is usually on his perch in front of the window..sometimes he lays on the floor by me, or maybe sits on the chair with me. He is not really as friendly as my other cats have been, but if he is in the mood he will sit with mommy.

Cats love to look out the window. That is great that he sits on the chair with you. He sounds like he really cares for you because if he sits on the chair with you or lays on the floor by you then that means something.

As you know we have two cats. They do like to be patted on the head. They just ignore me when I talk to them! See they have class!

@Hannihar They largely ignore each other and are very funny when we put food down for them. They have paw fights just tap each other they are quite amusing to watch!

Do they just like to be with each other then? That is too bad you cannot pat them on the head. I pat Sophie on the head and on the nose and talk to her. I only have one and she only has me. She could ignore and there are times she does just that.

Dylan does that all the time, sometimes he comes and sits with me, sometimes when I reach down he darts out of the room!

Because Sophie's vet cannot come right now and her nails are long I will ask her to just come down on my lap and she instead gets off of me and goes out of the room. I try to explain while she is going but she does not understand I believe.

Yes I have like those experiences. My pet also come along with me, she try to climb me also. Then after go silently.

My cat when I am laying on the bed exercising wants to climb on me unless she just wants to watch me.
