Good Morning/Good NIght!

I thought I would pop on and post before hitting the sack! I know many of you are up and enjoying your day and then others are fast asleep. This was a work night for my husband and I always stay up and wait for him to get home. Just finished up his midnight meal and we are just chilling before turning in for the night/morning. I hope you all have a great day or sleep, whichever is the case. I hope to be back online later today. It wasn't bad! Now I have the next six days with rain 60% and above. I am hoping that this changes because I have lots of limbs in the yard that need picking up so we can get the grass cut. Plus my garden is calling!!

@just4him Yes, I got out there yesterday and did a bit of weeding and added another tomato plant! Will tackle again today and add two eggplants. That will just about do it for adding plants except for a few stragglers on tomato plants. I staggered planting so they all do not ripen at once.

It is actually a field in Clinton, LA. It is about an hour from our home.

We have been in the 'hit' area the last few days. It's mucky outside. I am also trying to get packed and the weather is not helping any with outside chores!

@wolfgirl569 We have been greeted on our first day back home with on and off thunderstorms all day. Boo! And after looking at the weather forecast will have rain with high percentages for about five days. This will be more than afternoon thundershowers. Yuck. I need to catch up outside.

We are getting another one now, kinda late but it is here. And of course, I put off doing more garden work until late afternoon - early evening so I guess that won't get done today.

@kareng we also had a little rain last night but I was not aware. I only saw the wet garden this morning and I am glad to be spared from watering the plants.
