Yup. You read that correctly. Clothing brand GAP has struck a 10 year deal with rapper Kanye West. West also has a clothing/shoe line called "Yeezy" after his nickname.
West's line will be sold as "Yeezy Gap" and will include adult men/women's clothing as well as those for children. It won't include his footwear as Kanye as a contract with Adidas through 2026.
I love The Gap and it is where I get most of my clothes from. That being said I DESPISE Kanye West so I am disappointed to hear about this arrangement. You can be sure that I will not be buying any Yeezy Gap clothes. Apparently other people are very happy to hear about it. I read that Gap's stock (GPS) has soared since the announcement. I've seen tweets about it with the hashtag #WestDayEver.
I know that Gap has struggled over the past decade so I hope that this helps them to remain in business. I won't be buying any Kanye-related stuff though.

He's making a fortune off of these endorsements. I don't shop at the Gap; so it won't affect me.
