My sister who lives in Valdivia has a beautiful image of the virgin Mary, made in bronze. It belonged to my grandmother and I wanted it when she died but my sister asked for it first.
My sister says that it is miracle worker although she is a non believer. When she lived in England, she would light a candle to the virgin before she had a barbecue. She said it was a sure sign that it would not rain and I though that what she did was pure heressy and I told her so.
But today I called my sister to lit a candle for Oscar´s recovery. This is something important to ask for. In this time of lack of spirituality, we need some faith to go through all this that is happening.
I believe in the power of collective prayer, no matter what the faith. I felt it when I visited the Cordoba mosque. After so many hundreds of years, I could sense the presence of so many people in prayer.
Please a prayer in needed now

That is true that prayers can move mountains, so to speak. I hope your ex-son in law would recover soon.

I hope so. He is a good man and has worked as a doctor during this whole pandemic with older people.

I long time ago I decided that you can´t ask God to make you rich. But in these cases, I think it is right. Oscar has pneumonitis.

@marguicha What I know according to my faith. God has prepared anything what's best for us. If he does, we should be thankful.

Yes a prayer can work wonders irrespective of the religion or faith we belong to.
