Suddenly, I had the LSS or the Last Song Syndrome.
I watched on TV a pair who got married and they were sung with their wedding song. It was not the ideal wedding song because it was a fast rock Filipino song.
Some wedding songs of colleagues and friends are: You and I by the late Kenny Rogers; Forever by Rex Smith, and You and I by Shirley Bassey. the Hawaiian wedding Song is also a melancholic song that almost always makes me teary-eyed for reasons I don't know.
A pair of young artists in the Philippines has their theme song of Ronan Keating. they both agree that when they marry someday, hopefully with each other, their song will be played. it is "This I promise You"

This is the song which was sung at our Reception by the folk group I was a member of 51 years ago today and has since been sung at many weddings and anniversaries for various people of our acquaintance!

I had my wedding song and it was the traditional and famous Wedding March by Mendelssohn.

@ridingbet This is the case for all wedding in Italy, only solemn marches are accepted in Church.

@ridingbet Usually the family of the married will gave me their song selection for me to play at the wedding. And nope, I'm still single and free enjoying my freedom
