The Father of the Blue Eggs

Sharing a photo of the male bluebird, and the father of the three bluebird eggs in the backyard house. I was sitting on the deck earlier and caught him taking a break on the deck. Snapped a few photos. The male is always a brighter blue than the female. Always love sharing my bluebirds of happiness. At least they are mine for a little while.

@CarolDM When I was growing up, bluebirds of happiness were popular as brooches, or on pendants. I have a necklace with a bluebird on it.

@CarolDM I'll have to check out a female. I know that with birds, the males are generally more dramatically colored. Kind of like driving a Lexus while your wife drives a Honda.
