A country artists husband rescues a kitten on a Texas freeway

Even though I am not that familiar with country singer Miranda Lambert, she is known for her love of cats and dogs, her recent road trip with her husband Brendan McLoughlin who were traveling on a highway in Texas, Brendan saw a small kitten on the side of the road.
Brendan who was driving the auto decided to rescue the kitten who picked up the small kitten who was around four to five weeks of age who joined the couple who were on the end of a road trip heading back to Nashville Tennessee when the kitten traveled with three dogs with no problems.
Miranda decided to give her parents the new kitten who is now goes by the name Tequila as a gift for them after the kitten was rescued by Brendan who is following the example of his wife Miranda.

I think Miranda is known for her work with animal shelters by donating her money to keep the shelters from closing.

@Deepizzaguy I'd have to think about my favorites. Probably EmmyLou Harris and Vince Gill. Some were one or two hit wonders, like Dan Seals.

I think I did share a story where she donated money to keep an animal shelter open since they were running out of money to stay open.

That's a happy ending kind of real life incident. Truly the course singer and her husband love to dogs and cats has helped to give a better life to a kitten left stranded on a highway.

There is a special part of a program to rescue and adopt dogs here too in particular German Shepherds and Greyhounds that are much abused.
Like the seven year old German Shepherd Police Dogs that its quite hard to find a home for but they are being found.
