Well, it kinda stinks! I’m home after a great weekend, our first state tournament this season after the delay in starting. That’s not why my putting was so bad. This was my first weekend of competition since last July. I was hitting the shots well, but my speed was WAY off. I was putting dents in some of the rails, and leaving other putts a mile short. They have some LONG holes at that course in Fort Wayne. I had one bad hole (a quadruple bogey on the first round of the weekend). I didn’t play well, but you may be impressed (I was 21 under today). But my days of being “competitive” are over, I go for the fun now, trying to beat MYSELF and no one else, and most importantly, for the friendships that have built up over the last twenty years of playing. I’ll be back to my myLot friends tomorrow.

You have the right spirit! I stink at golf - always have except for my one and only freed hole in one. I love being out on the green and just go for the fun of it.
