Are you scared being alone?

It is the last June 30 of the year; tomorrow starts the second half of the year. My siblings went out to the city proper at 8:30AM while my son left for school at 9:30AM. It may sound disheartening being always asked, "Will you be OK staying alone at home?", "Are you feeling good now?", or as what my son always tell me, "Mama, are you sure you can manage being alone at home?" I always answer them affirmatively. I am seated and doing this discussion while watching TV, and I feel all right with no aches and pains. But maybe the reason why my siblings and my son ask me if I am OK being alone, is because they know I have a heart ailment and they may know what might happen if I suddenly have acute problems as regards my heart. I do not do heavy workload at home because I take good care of my heart. An assurance from me would suffice for their anxiety. How about you, if you have a health problem, do you feel scared when you are left alone at home?

I remember when I was in grade one... My teacher would always ask me why I was crying and my reply, it's because my mother is left at home, all alone... Hihihi I don't know, I was scared then to leave my mother all alone at home.. But my teacher would say that it's okay... She can manage.. Hihihi I am not scared if I am left all alone at home. I am just hesitant when there are people who would come for a visit.. I don't know how to entertain visitors.. LOL

@brokenbee that is why even if we shout at each other, i think that should be beneficial on my part. for any emergencies too, my siblings and son have their mobile phones and i can just ring them. no unusual occurrences though

I'm used being alone. Rather than scared I actually like being alone. There are really times that I want to be alone to keep away from stress coz sometimes people around me give me stress. You take care of yourself.

thanks, but what i mean is, if you are scared of being alone if you have a health issue? i guess you are healthy unlike me. i do not get scared being alone too, but my companions at home are... for me.

We can understand as they care for you and that is why they keep asking but sometimes some people take it wrongly as they were not feared before but when people keep saying like this then they may start to fear. We must have to be strong and keep trust on gob because if something is going to happen to us then it also happens in everyone presence too so no need to fear and keep confidence and trust in god.

thank you. the reason why they ask that is because my son and my sister were present when i had the 2 acute heallth problems last 2010 and 2016. they do not want to experience the same thing again.

I do not have major health problems and I am not scared to be home alone, but my husband does not want to let me home alone, he is concerned all the time that I could have a problem.
