I watched The First Power yesterday. I taped it when it was on Starz. It has Lou Diamond Phillips, Tracy Griffith, Jeff Kober, Mykelti Williamson, Elizabeth Arlen, Dennis Lipscomb, and Carmen Argenziano in it. Big Warning: there is some violence. In this movie, a detective named Logan is chasing down a serial killer that uses a satanic ritual on his victims. A psychic calls the detective to tell him where the serial killer is. He does capture the serial killer and he goes to the gas chamber. But the serial killer is brought back by Satan to kill some people and to get some more supernatural powers. They do capture the serial killer again and finally kill him. I sorta liked this movie. Next week I'm watching In Bruges.

If they killed the serial killer a second time, couldn't Satan just bring him back again a second time?

Yikes! I don't know about that one. It sounds exciting, and I like Lou Diamond Phillips usually. But I'm not sure it's for me. I'm doing something crazy, I'm watching All My Children from 1990. I wasn't watching or recording it that year, bu almost the whole year's worth of episodes is on youtube. Can you imagine having kept your VCR tapes that long? I always recorded over mine. Anyway, I'm glad people did, because of course with the pandemic, my usual soap isn't able to make new episodes. But these AMC story lines from the past are new to me, so I'm enjoying kinda binging on them. There were interesting story lines that year. Have a great day!

@CinnamonGrl I don't watch soap operas anymore. But my uncle does. In our family we watch Young and The Restless and Bold and the Beautiful. My mother lives with my uncle. And one day she mentioned that one characters looked really young. I looked at the guide on my tv and it said that the episode they were showing was in the 1990's. I told her and she said so that's why they looked so young. lol
