I am really impressed with this story that three female teens came up to hand Lee County deputy who was eating lunch in a restaurant a note. The three teens told Officer Stone who was dressed in his police uniform not to read the note until after they left since they did not want to spoil the surprise. When Officer Stone read the handwritten note the three teens handed to him, Officer Stone was moved to tears of joy since the note read that the three teens are thankful that the Lee County Sheriff's Office is doing an outstanding job being their guardians of their community. What impressed me is that Officer Stone has that kind note with him as a reminder that despite the news reports of tensions between the police and the protestors in large cities, there is peace and harmony in a small town in Alabama.

I am glad you enjoyed it since it is nice to see teens appreciate the good works of the police instead of asking them to disband them.

I agree with you since the protests in my nation have led to heartbreak for both the police and the protestors.

In these days of so much tension between groups, that was a very positive thing that the teens did.

I agree with you since most police officers have said that tension in small cities is rare.

You are right since police officers in small cities are admired by their communities for their service.
