The big news that just came out a few hours ago today is that Fox News Host Ed Henry has been fired from Fox for sexual harassment to a female co worker that happened many years ago. The woman hired a known sexual harassment lawyer to represent her. If the story is true, then he should be fired. But, many times these days a vindictive woman whether she had a fling with a co worker or NOT, will make up a story to hurt the guy for money. Some men are completely innocent. That is why in this day and age, in the work place, men who work with women, should only talk to them in a professional way, never talk in general, never flirt, never joke, never go out to eat lunch with them. You never know how they would construe a joke etc. I have warned my son who works with women.

I’m surprised, given that there’s allegations of rape against the presumptive democratic presidential nominee and no one is believing her.

And how many women complained about your president having harrassed them ? It has not blocked him to be elected. These kinds of arguments do not matter usually on this side of the Atlantic, we separate private and public life, and as long as somebody seems competent we do not care if he cheats his wife or has raped 100 women, we let this to justice.

I read that online a while ago. Henry may indeed be very guilty of this accusation, and men do have to tread carefully in this day and age - even if innocent. You have given your son very wise advice.

For someone to wait years does raise a lot of red flags. Although, if someone is very scared, I can see not reporting it right away. Women can be very vindictive, so it's wise for your son to be cautious.

This is certainly a timely, relevant topic. My opinion is that there are many unethical, dishonest people in this world, both men and women. If everyone would just behave in a professional manner at work, this type of thing could be avoided. Self-control is a virtue that too many folks just don't use!

It's unfortunate. Some just take advantage of things for personal benefits. It dilutes the real problem.

I think that they to tread more carefully yes indeed. Something that happened to me when I was about six months pregnant with twins shall not say who or when or how but he locked both doors of the car so I could not get out and I felt so bad about it and I did not dare tell my Husband as he would have been very angry. The said person was taking me to work and I thought until that very day that we were good friends you know a work mate and then it happened right in my street right in front of everyone. We were such good friends I felt that no one would believe me at the time and I told my Husband years later and he knew it was not my fault. He tried it on with me good and proper I don´t have to say anymore than that and since that day he lost my friendship forever and I went to work upset and very hurt I was a fool I think not to see that coming but sometimes you cannot guess what could happen. Some men are innocent and will not harm you but others have got more devious ideas for sure. When you trust someone you can get very hurt and not even understand why either. Sorry to rant but that is why I am trying to explain why some women hold back for such a long time as they feel bad, hurt and also that no one will believe them either.

Seems she took time to report.. it might be understood that she must have been suffering along and gathering her courage to report to the authorities

I think it is a minefield for men at the moment. They have to be so careful.

I was a little surprised to read this news. I do remember another issue with he and an affair. Too bad, I liked him.
