Thanks to the wonderful deed of a family of three who went fishing on Sunday at Marsh-Miller Lake in Wisconsin were able to save the life of the bear that was swimming with a jar on his head.
Tricia Hurt who was in the company of her husband Brian and their son Brady saw their chance to save the poor bear from suffocating and dying of starvation by riding their boat behind the bear with Brian using his hands to remove the jar from the away from the head of the bear who after being free, he swam to the shore safe and sound.
The Hurt family shared the video of the bear getting the jar removed from his head on social media which gained them a lot of views.
What amazes me is that the bear had the jar that contained food inside that tempted the bear to try to eat the food and have his head stuck for a period of three to four days before the Hurt family removed the object on Sunday.

Some people treat all the creatures as human beings

That was a long time for him to have his head stuck in the jar. Good thing they saw him and helped him and glad it turned out to be a happy ending.

@DianneN I agree with you since I remember a former Vietnam war veteran who is now a self help speaker saying something like "Courage is doing your job when your pants are wet."

I remember a story about a bear they had to hunt down because they said he was attacking campers. They killed the bear. But when they cut him open they found broken glass in his stomach. The poor creature was in extreme pain and suffering. Bears look huge and scary but they really are dumb animals. It seems like all they want is something to eat.

You are right since park rangers always warn campers never to feed bears any types of food.

I hope so too since bears like to eat food from jars and similar objects.

Im glad they found the bear and decided to help it. 3 to 4 days of being stuck in that jar was a torment to the bear.

I know what the bear was going through since when I put a muzzle on my late dog to take him for a walk, the dog would try to remove the muzzle since it bothered him a lot.

I saw that one, how brave and neat. I definitely heard they said it was more of a cub. I would think so even though was rather big. An adult bear would have turned around in the lake because that was a long swim if you see the video. It was filling with water and could have drowned. Then use its big paws to pull it off.

the fisherman and his family did the right thing by saving the bear's life. They didn't care for their own life while rescuing the wild bear.
