Latest Update - July 1st

Rupert, Idaho
July 1, 2020 11:36pm CST
If you remember my post yesterday, I said that they could not get my Grandfather an appointment with the neurologist until December. Well, my grandparents went to see our family doctor today to see if there were any other options. The doctor is pretty certain that what is going on with my grandfather is Parkinson's. So, he has given him some new medications that are supposed to help him pretty quickly. They are also trying to get him in with another neurologist - this one is further away, but not 3 hours away in a huge town at least. So, that is the news on my grandfather - so far. I may share more stuff later, not sure. Photo is mine - one I took while camping once (with my grandpa).

I hope so too, they are supposed to help him a lot pretty quickly. There is no cure of course, but if he can feel better that is what matters.

@MommyOfEli2013 I wonder why they cannot get people in right away. I had that happen to me. I had to have something done and could not get an earlier appointment and there were no cancellations.

@Hannihar Not sure if it is because of the virus, or just takes a long time because it is a specialty doctor

I hope so too, the doctor said it should help pretty fast. I will see him a bit tomorrow, so we'll see if it is helping yet.
