Success requires sacrifice..

Is it really true that success requires sacrifice? I was at my young age when i heard this proverbs buh i still don't understand it that thwy keep on saying that success requires sacrifice so now i want to know what sacrifice does success need us to give it?...

Kids who spend hours studying instead playing are an example, studying is a sacrifice, but they will get an education and they will reach success.

Yes, as nothing comes easy we need dedication, when dedication is there we need to shift our interest and priority so that how .. sacrifice comes I think

For me I sacrifice going out with my friends and instead I study. I get good grades so most definitely I am succeeding
