Peach Cobbler for my Neighbor

Was out talking to my neighbor late yesterday. He lost his wife almost two years ago to cancer. Very sad. He has a daughter that lives fairly close and two sons, one in New York and one in Florida. He was talking about how he really misses his wife's cooking. She was a great cook for sure, mostly Italian food. He said she could make the best peach cobbler. And he has not had one like hers in a long time. I decided to bake a cobbler for him. It is cooling now. I will take it over later. It will not be the same but hopefully he will enjoy. The house smells so good right now.

Whether it tastes the same or not, he will enjoy the cobbler you bring him. One, he probably hasn't had any since his wife passed; and two, he will greatly appreciate the gesture from you. So I'm pretty sure he will enjoy it immensely.
