This was found in The gold leaf. June 13, 1895. On LOC.GOV
When I first saw this I read Avoid Bulk Soda and thought they were talking about the drink also referred to as pop or fizz. They actually did have Sodas at this time, and I am not just referring to Coca Cola and Pepsi. People had been making their own types of root beer etc for years and years before the popular sodas were invented.
Anyway, I liked this ad because it's a brand still found on shelves here in the US today. Can you find Arm & Hammer products in your country?

It is such a big brand here, I was just wondering if they had expanded.

I don't think a lot of people use baking soda as much anymore. At least not like this.

@JESSY3236 Ah yeah, I forgot about the ones in the fridge. As you can tell, we don't change them very often.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I have a few baking soda boxes. One on my panty and one in refrigerator. I used to get Arm and Hammer cat litter. They had a campaign of getting at charm bracelet and I got one.

Arm & Hammer does a whole lot more than just baking soda now. They also make detergents and even body washes. Other things I am sure I'm not thinking about at the moment. I thought the brand started in the 1940's, but I guess I was wrong.

I don't really use the A&H brand. I just buy whatever is cheapest.
I still have boxes of baking soda that I bought when I worked for HT.

They still use that logo as well, all these years later.

I always use their toothpaste because it is less expensive than other brands.

I use one of the most expensive toothpastes now, but have used the A&H brand in the past.
