Lunch Today: Strawberry Shortcake!

I had some mini pound cakes left and some frozen strawberries. I wouldn't have had dessert for lunch, but Jimbo the Lion forced me into it! He posted this luscious picture of blackberry crumble his wife Yvonne made. It made me drool.
And dang it, I had no blackberries, but I did have some frozen strawberries, the little pound cakes, and a huge bottle of heavy whipping cream. Suddenly, I had lunch! And after all, it was health food. Fruit!
How about you? What is or was for lunch today?

I ussualy eat "nasi padang" with fried chicken for lunch. Nasi padang is of delicious food around here. We can find it almost every city.

That sounds yummy! I love most kinds of fish. Salmon the best though.

@CinnamonGrl Salmon is very good. I have several kinds of fish in my freezer including salmon.

Nice way of looking at what you had for lunch. I think I had leftovers with a salad and some brownie for lunch on that date.

I have not been to the bakery in ages so find things I like at the grocery store and buy them and brownies in a package are what I buy. They are good.

That sounds delicious.
We had chicken parmasean for supper last night on penne with marinara sauce on it.
I never throw anything out, so I had a couple tablespoons of penne and 4 tiny pieces of chicken warmed up for my lunch today. It was enough.
Of course my next question to you is, what's for supper following a lunch like that?
