Last year I was planning to move to Toronto to pursue a career I always wanted to do. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year want to have a Summer Vacation on a beach. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year want to attend some concert. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year I want to try different kinds of hair cut. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year I want to attend some amazing public events. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year I want to go to a zoo because Why not? Now I am stuck inside my house.
Last year I want to spend my Birthday on a strip club where the strippers dressed like dinosaurs. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year I want to attend a family reunion. Now I am stuck inside my house. Last year I want to have a date on a hundred year old restaurant. Now I am stuck inside my house.
Last year I want go to an amusement park. Now I am stuck inside my house.

In a few days my daughter would be having her debut, we had planned to rent a very special place since last year to celebrate the occasion, now we all decided to just stay inside the house

@CaptAlbertWhisker we will just celebrate it at home, it's okay she just asked me for a brand new laptop

Two of my longtime friends were going to come from San Jose to visit me in May or June. That visit is now put off indefinitely. It's disappointing. I hope we all stay healthy through this whole thing.

On the positive side . . . you have many plans to look forward to when you're not stuck inside your house anymore 
. We went on a ski trip mid-January - except that I got super sick (did I have the virus?) so didn't get to ski . . . so we were going to go on trip 2 maybe March, but of course that never happened. Ahhh, and I heard the ski conditions were so good too

@CaptAlbertWhisker What's up with the lockdown out your way? I wish there were stricter measures here . . . everyone has gotten way too relaxed here since we've began the reopening process - which I think was too quick. I hope you are at least able to get out to get groceries and take a walk around the neighborhood.

In April, I was supposed to go to the Elton John concert. It got cancelled due to covid. Supposedly, it will be rescheduled but don't know when that will be. I am bummed. I was really looking forward to seeing him live.

I remember everyone are speculating this outbreak will be gone by May. 
We are already half the year. I want to be positive and wish they are gone by the BER months but July has been getting worst.

@CaptAlbertWhisker yup, since the pandemic, most are done online now. I mean at least have something to do academic work more online since pandemic started.
