How do you like your BBQ chicken?
I don't like making my BBQ chicken in the oven. I know it provides a unique flavor, but I like to have enough bbq sauce to put it over my rice. I cut my chicken into pieces, cook those pieces and then add the BBQ sauce and let it simmer. Meanwhile I've already started the rice and the peas. Yeah, I like mine with rice and peas. I like lots of bbq sauce because I like the flavor of the bbq sauce combined with the rice. That is what I am making for supper today
Joann's finally shipped.
I never got an email back from my complaint, but I did receive an email this morning saying it was shipping. They will ship FedEX and it's coming from Ohio so maybe it will get here somewhat swiftly.
So I have four things coming from ebay as I orderd yarn needles today. I have an order from michaels, hobby lobby and Joann's as well. Wow the courier services must love me 
Nothing is supposed to arrive today, but here's hoping, right?
I don't have much planned today. I'm not going to do any chores at all, well except for dealing with the dinner dishes and cooking the dinner.

@amitkokiladitya The storms lately have not been very strong. We had one a few days ago that had loud thunder, but it only lasted a short while. My friends live North & East of me. They tend to get the worst of them.

Hubby is the one who likes bbq sauce . . . my tummy can't handle it for some reason, and the kids just don't like it at all. In most cases, I will cook plain chicken/meat - and Hubby will have it with bbq sauce on the side.
You're making the craft shop rounds! Hope all the packages get to you a-ok.
Just starting the day . . . making a food delivery to my parents in a bit - and then coming home to another hot day.

@ScribbledAdNauseum It turned out to be not so hot! Maybe 89. But the weekend is supposed to be super hot. I like hot and can tolerated it . . . but I do love autumn too (which is usually hot here anyway 
).
He likes it warm - but he would take it cold too if need be. Hubby used to get heartburn everyday . . . but if he drinks water with a zip of that Bragg's apple cider vinegar with the "mother", he doesn't get heartburn. It doesn't make sense as it is acidic, but somehow it works differently in the body - sets up the digestive system somehow.
I gotta look into that rakuten! Gosh, I haven't gone to a Hobby Lobby in months now . . . I miss seeing all that fun "stuff"

@much2say Yes, I have never understood how ACV with the mother doesn't make things worse. I've taken ACV for acid reflux before. It's just weird! We have 89 as a high here today. Yes, I think you can use a coupon code for the order. Now "rakuten" is okay, but it's not nearly as good as they suggest it is on the commercials. Still, if you are already going to buy from the store and rakuten supports it, might as well get a few pennies back.
I have not been inside a hobby lobby in a long time either. I love hobby lobby out of all the craft stores because it reminds me a lot of Ben Franklin's, which we don't have any of around here.

Yes, it's hot here todday Not as hot but still too hot for my autumal loving self!
Oh, does he heat the sauce up? I will admit that it is so tangy and spicy. I love it, but I usually have to take some heartburn medicine after eating it.
Yep, and I think the winner is going to be hobby lobby for the moment. They had the quickest turn around (I mean, they got it packaged up the quickest) and rakuten offers 2% cashback on orders from them.

Smoked chicken is really good, I do love that. Friend has a smoker, and I would have had her make me something in it, but well.. social distancing and all.

Yes. I am wondering whether it will all be delivered on Friday like it is supposed to. Sometimes the mail man doesn't deliver every package the same day.1 person likes this

Ah yes, I will be so happy to open those packages up too. Yep, BBQ chicken is one of my most favorite meals too, and I don't make it very often at all. Maybe once or twice a year.
