Washing gray hair. COVID at its worst.

I don´t mind wrinkles, friends. It is part of age. But hair is another thing. There are so many ways we can treat our head (hair) to be nice. Once in a while I ask my beautician cousin to do those lighter touches. They are beautiful. She knows the way to turn my scarce hair (one of the side effects of chemotherapy) into a glorious and abundant mane. But she lives in San Fernando and I love in Santiago. It is another universe. So today I dared look at my clean hair. It has at least 2 inches of very thin gray hair. The gray is not as bad as I thought. But I would have to be on lockout for a couple of years to have it all gray. How much longer will we be locked?

Oh, since the lockdown here, most people complain about the hair too, getting longer.... Like me since the barbershop not open, I cut my own hair

@marguicha I think, I'm gonna chop again this month or next month. The weather is hot here and I cannot stand with a long hair

I tried to dye my hair when the hair salons were close here during the pandemic. Actually we also bought the electric clippers to have a haircut for ourselves at that time. We have learned many new skills after the coronavirus

I bought some dye. But the cut is so bad that it is not worth it.

My hair seems to be thinning out as I age. It is very fine and flies all over the place.

Mine is too thin. And it got worse after the chemo.

@marguicha My sister-in-law's hair grew back curly after her chemo but it is back to normal now. I don't know if it is thinner or not.

And I don't mind having wrinkles either, Marguicha:) But with my hair, I like it to be clean and neatly trimmed. Your photo is lovely and I really like your hairdo

@marguicha I love the bobbed cut on older ladies, it's a practical haircut.

I was lucky to get out a couple of weeks ago and get my hair cut. I let it go gray when I retired; and I'm glad I did. I don't mind it at all. It's mostly silver. I hope things in your country improve soon.

I keep saying to hope for a better day. We have to keep saying it until it happens.

I’m hoping that soon, things start easing up, and Covid 19 goes away.
