The life of a police officer is basically a 24 hour job since they are on notice to do their duty to save lives when they are needed.
On Monday Calidonia K9 police officer Cory Radke and his dog partner Lou were on their way home when they were called to assist the Calidonia firefighters who were battling a fire.
When Officer Radke arrived at the scene of the fire after a concerned citizen call 911 to report the incident, he kicked the side door of the home that was filled with smoke to rescue a dog named Deezil who was sitting on a couch.
Officer Radke was able to get Deezel out of the smoked filled room safely. A firefighter was able to rescue the other dog named Fido who was inside the same room hiding under a bed. Fido was also taken out of the smoke filled room safe and sound as well.
The owners of the home that caught fire were not home at the time of the incident.
Teamwork between the firefighters and police officers paid off to save two dogs who would have perished from smoke inhalation had help not arrived to save them.

Heroes are not only those who wear capes and masks, we also have our ordinary heroes who do extra ordinary deeds.

That is true since in my blogs on social media, I warn people that if the police are not around to assist you, there is no real life Avengers or Justice League to save them.

I agree with you since the officer did his duty to save the life of a pet.

That is true since thanks to a neighbor who alerted the authorities, the dogs are safe and sound.

I agree with you since smoke inhalation is the top killer in fire deaths.

I am sure that the owners of the dogs will appreciate the rescue mission that the police officer and firefighter did for them.
