My show of respect and gratitude goes to former college football player Phillip Blanks, 28, who was the right place at the right time when a fire at an apartment in Phoenix area required his services.
Phillip ran outside of his apartment when a fire on the third floor forced a mom to yell at Blanks and another man who were on the ground floor to catch her three year old son who was released from his mom's grip as her apartment was on fire.
The mom yelled at the two men "Grab him." as the child fell down from the third flight to the ground when Blanks who was a wide receiver at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo California made the greatest catch of his life.
The child is okay. I am sure that the Phoenix Fire Department were able to put out the fire and save the mom from perishing in the fire in her apartment.
I am sure that the city officials will reward Phillip for his wonderful act of saving a child from perishing in a fall from three stories above the ground in the near future.

Even though the news report did not mention what happened after the child was saved, I am sure that the mom was rescued.

That means the child's Guardian Angels were nearby for that amazing catch to happen. I hope the mom is all right too.

The mother is okay since I am sure that the firefighters were able to rescue her after they arrived at the scene of the fire.
