Hot week

Well, the warm weather has been back this week. It's been humid and hot. Yesterday was the warmest and most humid. It was 42 Celsius with the humidity. Today is supposed to be the same. As much as it's not always fun dealing with the humidity and all, I won't complain. I'd much rather have this than the minus 30 degree weather. Plus don't have to worry about boots and coats. It just means that we spend a lot of time either at the pool (which my kids love) or inside with the AC on.

I was surprised I thought our weather was going to be disgusting today, but it is not humid at all since that storm passed us buy. It is hot..but not terrible in fact with the humidity it feels more like late August instead of mid July.

I'm glad to hear that it wasn't too humid for you. It does make it a little easier when it's not humid.

Goodness, your heat up there sounds like what we experience every day during the summer here in Florida! I hope you can survive that excessive heat! The pool and AC will definitely help you get through those hot days.

Thankfully we have had some cool days. I wouldn't want to deal with it every day. Thankfully we have the AC and pool which definitely help. So glad we have access to them.

@dodo19 I know there are a lot of places up north that don't have AC, so I always feel bad for those folks that don't have a way to cool off in their homes. I'm glad you have the AC to help. And who doesn't love a fun trip to the pool in the summer!

It really hasn’t been too bad temperature wise here, but it has been more humid. I’m with you on this weather. I’m a summer kind of girl. The heat doesn’t really bother me.

I'm glad that it hasn't been too humid. I'm glad I'm not the only one. My middle daughter was born in June and is total summer girl too.

Where I live, some days are hotter than others, but not too bad. When there is a nice breeze, I enjoy nature more. I like it's scents in the air. There's a freshness about nature that fills my senses with a nostalgia of childhood. I remember playing outdoors with my brother during the 1970s. Back then children enjoyed games of kickball, tag, and hop scotch.

Its been terribly hot and humid here as well. I would rather the cold, although there are usually a couple of days that it gets so cold that it is hard on the lungs. They are saying that this summer will go down in the record books as the hottest ever. Try to stay cool today.

My husband does prefer the cold months too. Although not when it's freezing. As you said not the days that are cold on the lungs. It'll be interesting to see if it will go down as the hottest summer. Only time will tell. We will definitely try and stay cool. You stay cool as well.
