A friend is coming through for me / myLot

She saw my post on FB about needing one stinking cup of red wine for tonight's dinner and she offered to bring me a bottle. That saves me a trip to the liquor store in today's terrible weather. I was just planning to do without and adapt the recipe. The past year and a half have really showed me who my real friends are. I've gone through the worst time in my life and friends/family have all but abandoned me. It is people who I thought who were just acquaintences who have stepped up to help me get through these times and who help me whenever I need it. I will remember this.

And because of these people who have stepped up to the plate, you have grown stronger and stronger, to be an overcomer. On our own, no one is durable enough to face life's issues alone! You are standing tall more each day and that's beautiful to see!
