Doctor appointment

Well my doctor appointment is over nothing to bring home for the pain but she explained to me why it is because they want to concentrate on getting the swelling down and nothing would work she said. She did give me a stronger dose of steroids and more of the pills for the spasms and we got the referral in for the surgeon she pushed it tonget a appointment with surgeon right away with me being in so much pain. So that is where I am at right now. Oh she did give me a shot for the pain. I will let you all know how the surgeon appointment goes once I go

Did she give you a cortisone shot for the pain? One of my co-workers has been having some bad back pain, and they gave her a cortisone shot to ease her pain. She has also been taking meds to get the inflammation down. Not sure exactly what is going on with her back, but it sounds like it could be a similar situation to yours.

Not sure if it is a cortisone shot or not I know it did not help.

@Tina30219 Aw, that's not good news to hear. I was hoping the shot would give you relief. But I'm thinking it may have actually been a cortisone shot, because they say those shots are always hit or miss....they either hit the target and there is relief, or the shot misses the target and the pain is still there.
