Will be watching some Christmas movies in July

Candace Cameron Bure is best known for her role as DJ Tanner on Full House and now as DJ Tanner-Fuller on Fuller House. She is also now officially the queen of Hallmark Christmas movies. I saw some of them before and loved them.
I recently saw her post on Instagram that her Christmas movies are going to be playing on the Hallmark Channel in July. I decided to watch all of them. Some I have already seen but I wanna re-watch them. I think there is seven movies to watch. I have set my DVR to record them. This way I can watch them whenever I want and can fast forward through the commercials.
I also want to see Christmas at Dollywood, which stars Dolly Parton and Danica McKellar from The Wonder Years, and Christmas at Graceland, which stars Kellie Pickler, a former American Idol contestant. I hope these two movies will be airing on Hallmark as well.
Do you like to watch Christmas movies? And in the summer?

Yes, sometimes I watch Christmas movies on summer, as long as I like the movie.

@nela13 I did. I watched a second movie today. Five more to go. Some have not recorded yet though. They will record some time next week.

The title reminds me of the happy Christmases we had here. I wonder if there is Christmas this year.

@lovebuglena if the virus is still here it would be a bleak Christmas. Our traditional caroling and dawn masses will not be allowed, I guess, and giving of gifts will be cut to the minimum.

@Alexandoy Oh. That sucks! Hope it doesn't happen.

The title of the discussion? Why would there not be Christmas this year? You think it will be cancelled?

I'm not a big fan of Hallmark movies and prefer watching holiday movies in December. But enjoy your movies and thanks for posting!

I don't really watch the Hallmark channels. Only their Christmas movies. I usually watch holiday movies closer to the holidays. But this year for some reason decided to do that now since her movies are playing. I watched one already and waiting until more record so I can watch those.

@LindaOHio I can't wait for summer to be over. Can't stand the heat and humidity and the central AC working all day. Unless I have no choice and have to go to the store for something I stay home. But that is not good because I don't get fresh air and also hardly active.

I don't think it's wrong either. There are people who are already shopping for Christmas presents at this time of the year.

@Adie04 If things are cheaper now than at Christmas time it is a good idea to buy now. The only dilemma is if you buy now you won't be able to return it for a refund come the holidays.

@lovebuglena yup. Actually for my opinion, it's better to buy early. You see, some shops will be close because they also wanted to celebrate Christmas. Plus, they are also going to raise the price during celebration.

I don't get the Hallmark Channel, so it's not often I can see these Christmas movies, but there have been a few times when I have been visiting friends or family that we sat and watched a couple of them. They are always good movies, with good endings and messages of hope and love.

@lovebuglena They are predictable to a sense, but that doesn't mean they're not good to watch. They have good stories to them. And lets' face it, we're always rooting for the guy and the girl to get together at the end.

Some people will say they are predictable or cheesy but I love them either way. Turns out there are two channels. One is Hallmark and the other is Hallmark Movies & Mysteries or something like that.

I am Jewish as well but I love Christmas movies. The lights and decorations, all the bright colors, the snow, and the tree (though we Eastern Europeans call it a New Year tree and put it up for that) all bring happy thoughts and make me feel good inside. Plus, the falling in love aspect does that as well. That's why I enjoy watching them, even though not my holiday.

I don't believe I have watched Christmas movies while in the summer, probably should just to escape the heat and enjoy the snow in the movies haha

I am not sure if I've ever done that either but this year I wanted to do that when I saw her movies would be playing on Hallmark this month. I was A Christmas Detour so far and I liked it. Made me feel good and smile and I needed that.

That's the best time and in the fall leading up to the holidays, like late October - November.
