Calf sleeves, and coffee

I went to the vein specialists recently to discuss my legs and we decided not to get any more treatments done until I was closer to eighty if I even will need them done then. My legs do not ache since I've been wearing support stockings, and achy legs is the main reason to get the treatment. The PA suggested that I switch to a compression legging rather than the stockings with or without toes. The ones with toes bother my toes the ones without ride up toward my heal making it feel like I'm standing on a pencil. The 'calf sleeves' I purchased feel dreamy after they are on for a bit although I could use a little larger size because the bottom bands compress around my ankles just a bit too much. But, I got the largest size they have, xl, so instead I cut into the band hoping that will relieve the pressure on my ankle. I've done that in other support stockings before too. Nope that didn't help. At least they didn't cost much. I ordered another pair online that are shorter in the foot and hopefully won't ride up. I think they also have larger sizes. They've not arrived yet though so I can't say they are better. ~~~~~~ Last week I had a lot of iced coffee with mainly my creamer and pieces of ice in it. I don't like mickey D's variations of iced coffee. I usually drink it hot but without air conditioning my hot coffee was just too hot so I began adding ice. What about you? How do you like your coffee? And if you want to share whether you've ever worn supper stockings that's fine too.

And probably only hot coffee even when it's hot outside like it was last week?

To be honest, I heard a lot of good reviews about this compression legging. Do you feel your legs being held tighr or what? I have not tried it but am.tempted to.wear it.too.

Do you have sore legs after standing an hour or more or from something else? There are many brands out there in Amazon. If I were shorter more brands might work better for me. I'm hoping the ones coming will work better as I'm getting tired of the support stockings I currently wear that ride up and hurt my feet while benefitting my legs.

I hope your new calf sleeves will be fine and good for your legs. I only drink my coffee hot with a bit of real cream inside. If it is really very hot, I add some cold coffee to make it lukewarm.

@MarshaMusselman I keep the leftover coffee in a jug in the refrigerator, this is what I use to cool down the hot coffee.

@LadyDuck that's an idea I'd not thought about.

We've used left over coffee to make it into ice cubes and used that. But it's a lot of work when I'm the main one doing it so now I just use an ice cube or several when it's really hot.

I hope the new leggings work out for you. I like my coffee hot. I don't like cold coffee.

An old hairdresser of mine wore compression stockings which helped her a lot. I haven't had the need to wear them. I take my coffee black and only one cup after my morning exercise.

Did she wear them to minimize varicose veins in her ankles or just the tired achiness most older people get especially after doing the same thing over and over again at a job and that could be standing, sitting or something like waitressing. We had a friend from work that had us try magnets and copper but mostly when we were there visiting we never tried them while working.

@JESSY3236 I have varicose veins and I think I need the compression more than the copper or magnets I wear them for my veins not for the arthritis.

@MarshaMusselman My mother broke her leg many year ago in a motorcycle accident. I think she has arthritis too .She really does claim that the copper socks do help her.

The ones in the photo actually look really cute too so that’s too bad they aren’t going to work out. Review them so the next person that looks at them will see what you have to say about them. I think McDonald’s actually has the best iced coffee of all the places I have tried. Their caramel frappes are my favorite.
