Do you disinfect your money?

Philippines

When ever I get a chance, wether it's coins or paper bills, I would disinfect them at home just to be safe. You never know if the money comes from an infected person. I think it's safe to say that we should disinfect things before we touch them, unless it's fire though. Have a nice day.

No, I do not care about money. I just let it stay in my pocket.

I disinfect my hand quite often but I don't go that far usually. Still, seems like a good idea though, thanks for that.

I prefer not to. It might damage the paper then it is not accepted by anyone if damaged.

I do not have the time to really disinfect them when I get money from atm and change from stores. I guess like most in here it stays in my pocket or wallet for a long time before I touch them again.

Hello @rsa101 I'm glad that I only withdraw from the ATM only once a month and not too often anymore.

No I don't. I'll be using up too many disinfectants. Besides virus can stay only in a few hours and I keep them in the vault. I don't touch them that same money often anyway.

@Letranknight2015 These days when I go shopping I don't pay in cash. Or when I do, it has to be the exact amount so I could limit receiving money from a stranger.

That is good choice because you never know when you're going to touch those bills again @Adie04 It started actually when some of those bills i had to give it to mom so that got me the idea of disinfecting it first.

I usually avoid cash at the moment. I use my visa card or cell phone payment instead. If I have to use cash I sanitize my hands afterwards and I place the change in my bag. I don't touch the money for a while. I think that is easier than disinfecting the money.

I once watched the news that there was a group of mothers in the market creating money sterilizers. but if I myself do not do that because I do not have the tools, I only diligently use a handsanitizer to clean my hands
