"This isn't a drive thru convenience store" That was the first words out of my mouth as we parked, got out of the car and walked to the cement block building. She just looked at me and shrugged, making no further comment. We walked into the store to find that it wasn't quite a convenience store at all. "It used to be a convenience store" was my friend's only comment. The inside of the building was sparse, mostly filled with people and a few shelves of what looked like motor oil scattered about. We were out of place in this shop, or at least I was. My friend looked as if she was right at home. I walked behind her as she made her way to one of the shelves, acting as if we had intended to come here all along. I could feel eyes on us as we perused the shelves, and I did not like the feeling at all. I tried to nudge my friend along as best I could, but she seemed to be oblivious to the energy around us. I turned around when I felt breath on the back of my neck, nearly stumbling into my friend as I tried to get away from the offender. The man just leered at me, his lips curling and showing yellow teeth. "Can we get out of here?" I whisper shouted at my friend, who finally realized the severity of our actions and put down the bottle of motor oil she had in her hand. I did not take my eyes from the man, but I was sure she nodded before grabbing my arm and pulling me down the aisle the opposite way. Luckily no one was there to block us and we made our way to the exit once more, our eyes glued to the glass doors. I breathed a sigh of relief as we scurried to the car and locked the doors. "That wasn't a drive thru convenience store." I said as she put the car in drive and squealed out of there. Then I woke up Well not really as more things did happen, but yeah.
