"This isn't a drive thru convenience store"
That was the first words out of my mouth as we parked, got out of the car and walked to the cement block building. She just looked at me and shrugged, making no further comment. We walked into the store to find that it wasn't quite a convenience store at all.
"It used to be a convenience store" was my friend's only comment. The inside of the building was sparse, mostly filled with people and a few shelves of what looked like motor oil scattered about. We were out of place in this shop, or at least I was. My friend looked as if she was right at home.
I walked behind her as she made her way to one of the shelves, acting as if we had intended to come here all along. I could feel eyes on us as we perused the shelves, and I did not like the feeling at all. I tried to nudge my friend along as best I could, but she seemed to be oblivious to the energy around us.
I turned around when I felt breath on the back of my neck, nearly stumbling into my friend as I tried to get away from the offender. The man just leered at me, his lips curling and showing yellow teeth.
"Can we get out of here?" I whisper shouted at my friend, who finally realized the severity of our actions and put down the bottle of motor oil she had in her hand. I did not take my eyes from the man, but I was sure she nodded before grabbing my arm and pulling me down the aisle the opposite way.
Luckily no one was there to block us and we made our way to the exit once more, our eyes glued to the glass doors. I breathed a sigh of relief as we scurried to the car and locked the doors.
"That wasn't a drive thru convenience store." I said as she put the car in drive and squealed out of there.
Then I woke up Well not really as more things did happen, but yeah.

Yes it is very scary. If it had really happened, I would not have allowed it. I would have stepped back or asked them to step back.

@LadyDuck Especially here where there's a part of the population that don't believe the virus is real. They are willing to believe Trump instead of the scientists and medical teams.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Sometimes it's hard to prevent that people get too close, it is scary.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I just forget eveything once I wake up. Rather try not to recall it.

@piyushbhatia1 I've always been fascinated with dreams, so I try to recall what I can. Unless it is a nightmare. These dreams were a little scary, but they weren't a nightmare for me.

Good thing you can still remember your long dreams. I don`t know why you dream like this.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I`m trying to analyze your dream but it`s just about how scared you are with people around you.

@m_audrey6788 Right. I didn't tell the full dream as there was much more that I dreamed about. This was just a little clip of it. I even left out some of it here because it was too graphic.

I don't know why I dream like it either, but I don't mind it. I try to analyze some of my dreams.

wow why motor oil? I dreamed that I was in a cabin. I was both me and the lawyer on Burden of Truth (I had just watched the finale before dreaming this dream.) In the show the lawyer is pregnant. The cabin was dirty. I was in the bathroom and there was fruit half eaten in there and other odd items in the room. It was nasty. I called my mother to ask her why the cabin was nasty and if the man who was there before had actually left. Then I woke up.

A friend of mine had car trouble in real life, and I think that's why I thought of motor oil. Oh wow, that's a creepy dream. Especially not knowing if the man in the cabin was truly out of there.

Maybe you have think about your previous dream before sleep, or seen something before you sleep, that makes your dream having it's episode....
But I heard some of my psychology friends that keep dreaming not good because dream means you're not sleeping. It happened to me once, I had a nightmare for 3 straight days and I am very very headache. But mine case it's a bit spiritually though.

I started reading a book about a woman who had gone missing just shortly before I went to sleep. That might have had something to do with my dreams. I did wake up several times last night, but was able to go back to sleep easily enough.
Your psychology friends say that constant dreams mean you are not sleeping well?

@Adie04 Oh I see. That is not the way I understand it. I believe we must reach deep sleep before we can dream.

@ScribbledAdNauseum that's what they said, if I interpret it correctly. Constant dreams could lead to tired body because dream means your mind are awake.

Oh yes! You are right, it would have been even scarier had the engine not started. There was more to that part of the dream but I didn't want to share it here because it might frighten others.
