My niece's 6th birthday

Today is my niece Grace's 6th birthday. I still remember the day that she was born. I wasn't there at the hospital but my mom kept me updated on my sister's progress. . . which wasn't much until the baby went into distress and the doctors finally did a C-section. I wasn't really into her for the first couple of years because I don't know what to do with babies or young toddlers. Grace was also very shy and never wanted to be near anyone but her parents. Now she is a funny, happy, confident little girl who is always smiling. She knows who I am, what my car looks like, etc. We can have conversations. Anyway my sister isn't having a big party today but she is having a small group of family members over for pizza, salad, and cake. It isn't going to be a huge deal but it will still be nice. Darn COVID.
