A Newfound Treasure

Hi everyone!
I just helped hubby position our old bench in our yard. We placed it towards the right front of our house under a pink dogwood tree. I’m satisfied.
It was discovered ugly and dirty in a back section of our rock garden hidden by overgrown shrubs. Hubs washed it and painted the wood portion white. I love its new look and placement.
It’s a newfound treasure!

My sister gave me one. We put new slats on it, but they have worn. Hubby did not want it painted. I am going to put the slats back on, they WILL get painted white. The metal on mine has been painted green but I am going to dry brush white on it as well to accent the cherubs it has. I love sitting on it. It will go to the east side of our front yard. Enjoy your new seating.

If anything I like the bench but also the cherubic like child figure that is there too lovely.

@DianneN Yay! Are you and your husband getting in plenty of fluids? Right now, I have a huge water bottle in the fridge and some seltzer.

The Bench would be great on hot days to sit and relax in the Tree shade. On a day when it has rained, the bench would be a nice place to read a book, or to have tea/coffee along with good chat!
And the Treasure too looks an interesting one.
