First, welcome, and don't be shy! We are all (mostly anyway!) nice people.
Usually, when you join myLot, one of our members posts the site rules, so I won't do that again. I will just say, "read the rules."
Write: an introduction of yourself that gives us more information than "I'm new here." Tell us your hobbies, your interests, if you want to tell us things like your job or family, why you joined myLot, what you enjoy about writing, etc.
Read: lots of other people's posts. Learn how people write things on this site and how they get responses. As you read, you will learn the culture of myLot and get to know many of these nice people better!
Respond: After reading other people's posts, make sure you leave a kind comment, not just "Yes" or "Thanks". Show that you have read the post by your response, and they might answer you back.
So, there are the three "R"s of my Lot, "wRite, Read, and Respond."
Have a great time here. We look forward to getting to know you better.
