My big brother is packing up his things for his departure back to UK on the 26th of this month. He and my sister contacted somebody on carpool, and they are 3 passengers in a van, so there is distancing still, or at arm's length between the passengers.
It is a different sending off for us here. My brother will be fetched by the van, and they shall leave immediately. His flight back to UK via Etihad Airlines will be on the midnight of 29th, and nobody among us siblings will see him off.
He prefers to wait for his time of flight in the international airport already. If he will stay in a hotel, chances are it will be difficult for him to get transportation going to the airport. Besides, there are no more sending off parties this Covid season.
I hope my older brothers can see him off on the midnight of 29th. They and my sister are always video-chatting about this. I hope there will be no problems encountered.
My brother will not need to be quarantined for 14 days. There is a directive that once a person leaves within 24 hours and is negative on rapid test, he is free to go. My brother should still wear face mask.
This is his longest 'vacation' back home, from last week of December to last week of July.

@ridingbet Several cities in the UK are planning a new lockdown, there will not be a "National Lockdown", but they plan to lock the areas where there are more new cases.

Due to terrorism, all send-offs have stopped in all airports national and international.
With the virus, it's more serious to follow protocols. Times of travel have certainly changed.
Your brother should not only wear a face mask, but bring a hand sanitizer with him as well.
Wishing him safe travels.

@DianneN that is true. but this morning, there was another clash between both of us. i got so disgusted that i told her:
"manang, if we hate each other, is it possible that we become civil with each other? no hate, no love, no anger, just be civil?"

that is what my son is anxious about, if my older brothers will come home here, because they said on videochat with my siblings here, that they will come here 3 days from now. my sister told them they should quarantine themselves because i have an ailment and i would not compromise myself with seeing them and my health.

he will arrive in Manila on the 27th, and he might stay at the airport until the 29th. he has nobody to send him off, but it will depend if my older brothers will go there to see him off.
