Saturday and Sad Update

I had some bad news the other day ... my son's Great Grampa, Jay's grandfather, Ray Moody, passed away on July 16th. He was in his late 80's and had a bad fall while out walking with his wife. He hit his head and went into a coma. Jay was luckily able to go and see him before he passed. I was not able to, as they live a couple hours away and it wouldn't be a good idea to take the baby travelling right now.
I felt horrible that I could not go and say goodbye myself ... Jay's Grampa always made me feel really special when we visited with them and we got along great.
He was a very quick witted man and had a great comeback for anything someone would say to him. He always gave people a hard time, in a funny way, but not me. He treated me like I was one of his own granddaughters. He would joke when I came over that I could stay there, and Jay could go home. LoL. I will miss him. I'm so sad that baby Aleister did not get to meet him ... but I know he will watch over him from wherever he is now.
Raymond Moody was a great man - and now he will be able to hang out with my own Grampa Ray, who passed away a couple years ago. I'm thankful that we got the time we did ...

@MissNikki I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I'm sorry you were unable to see him before his passing. You had a genuine reason on why you couldn't. If things were different I know you would have been there.
R.I.P Raymond. From what I am reading, he really did sound like a wonderful man!
