30 years old today!

Hope all is well. Not sure how this happened, but it’s my 30th birthday today! My 20’s sort of flew by. As a kid, “30” had sounded so old. And I imagined myself owning a house, maybe having a family, married, whatever. Real life has been very very different. First, 30 is not old. I would like to buy a house in the next decade but i don’t feel rushed like I thought maybe I would have. I was surprised after work by my sister and her husband who bought me my favorite beer (pistachio cream ale, nom!), some other nice gifts. It was nice! And I am ready for the 30’s to be even more awesome than the 20’s! Have a good day everyone.

@maezee Congrats. It was also Valerie's birthday too. Sometimes our hopes and dreams do not turn out the way we planned, but, still does not mean that they will not come true. You have a good outlook on turning 30. It sounds like you had a nice day.

Wish you a very Happy Birthday! Well, you would not feel much change in the early 30s, but may be by the Mid 30s. And if you can remain fit, then may be you can still feel like 20s in the 30s.
