Strangers rescue a man who fell into Lake Michigan to retrieve a flip flop

This story is kind of odd since on Saturday evening at the Grand Haven pier when a dad jumped into Lake Michigan to retrieve a flip flop that fell off of his child. After the dad had a tough time trying to get out of Lake Michigan, a group of bystanders used a life ring to get the man out of the lake safe and sound. The best part of the story is that the dad was able to retrieve his child's flip flop and place it on his child.
