Today is the 51st anniversary of the first step on the moon. I thought for sure there would be a moon base by now and probably on Mars.
There are those that think we never made it to the moon and that the world is flat. I disagree with them, I believe it actually happened, because why would anyone go the the trouble of making it up.
Didn't the scientist of the world watch the movie 2001--we are really far behind in our technology and space travel. :)
Oh well, good thing there are space stories in movies, since we don't have the real thing.

On July 20, 1969, the Apollo 11 Lunar Module with Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin aboard touched down on the surface of the Moon 4 days, 6 hours, and 45 minut...

@misunderstood_zombie The lunar module landed the 20th, but the first step on the moon was the 21st.

The things people believe are crazy. Some believe that the streaks in the sky are Chem trails poisoning all of us.

I still don’t know weather to believe it or not myself due to nobody else going up there ever since the first and only person did , just doesn’t make any sense

Yes, and I saw a documentary that stated we stole a lot of space info from the Russians and that is how we learned to build the rockets.

@JohnKu I wish I could remember the show, but it stated that Russia took it's first rocket ship on a tour around their country and American spies bribed someone to look at the technology. I'm sure you are right though, without certain scientists from Germany it would have taken much longer.

@misunderstood_zombie Hmm, I thought US build it's first rocket based on captured Germany rocket scientists after WW2.

@jstory07 The US flag was moving. Moon has no atmosphere. No stars in the sky. The astronauts were jumping around as though suspended by crane cables. In some videos released by NASA there are bubbles released from astronauts face which means it was an under water drill.
The earth shown from there was completely blue. Earth has land which is not blue.
