Well, it's been awhile since I've done one of these and I know I love hearing what other people are reading. I realize that despite mylot being a site wherein one is required to read, there aren't a lot of actual readers here. Those that are, aren't as avid or don't feel like talking about it. but Here I am talking about what I am reading, or well what I have on my TBR to read. I found this by searching for authors like Simone St James What are you reading? Listening To? Watching? Here's a link to the synopsis about it for anyone who cares enough to check it out. Please TAG me in any response you make to me With the exception of any response you make to me on my own discussions. I've recently changed the way I get notified, and that means I don't get notified for comments unless I've been mentioned. I mean you don't have to do it, but if you wonder why I haven't commented back when I normally do, that's why.
Haunting and atmospheric, The End of Temperance Dare is another thrilling page-turner from the author reviewers are calling the Queen of ...

I'm zipping through the 19th Christmas by James Patterson. It's #19 in his Womens Murder Club series and I've enjoyed all of them. Can't wait to read #20.

I believe I have a James Patterson on my massive TBR book shelf. I have yet to read any of his books.

I read his first ten or so of the Women's Murder Club. WOW he's written a lot from that series, hasn't he? I have a few of them, but I am not sure if I'll ever read them so I'll sell them.

I notice there are not a lot of readers here. Not a lot of people read my book reviews. Though Gothic is not my thing, this story doesn't sound so much gothic as it does ghostly. It might be of interest to me. Thanks for sharing.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I know what I like, which covers quite a few genres. I have read YA Paranormal (ie vampires) and did enjoy it but it's not a genre I choose to read. I'm pretty sure I won it. I picked up a fantasy book at the rec centre through bookcrossing. I took it and told the person who left it I wouldn't read it but would release it elsewhere. She said I just HAD to read it. I did read it and did enjoy it but again, I will not CHOOSE to read fantasy. I like ghosty paranormal, cozy mysteries, mysteries, detective stories, romance, contemporary & contemporary romance, women's fiction, and occasionally historical.

@patgalca I haven't really been trying to win books or get ARCs for books lately because I'm so selective.

There used to be more readers here a few years ago, and more people sharing. I know that one person who used to share about her reading is hardly ever on anymore, and another just disappeared. I find I can be super selective with what I will and won't read. I've read a lot of genres over the years, but I've also started being a lot more selective than I once was.

This tagging or using "@" isn't working for me, maybe others are experiencing that too. Not sure that everyone will do that, either, but whatever works. I am currently reading "Paradox" by Catherine Coulter. Never read this author before and I am only a few pages into it.

I think I have either that book or one of her others on my shelf. Haven't read anything by her either. Yeah, it's doubtful that people will, but I was so tired of waking up and having so many extra notifications that weren't necesary.

I'm listening to The Amber Room by Steve Berry. I had to get some new earbuds though. The right one worked, but the left stopped working.

I hate how that seems to happen with ear buds.

Glad you are enjoying it. I just looked it up and I see it was first published in 1926. Are there a lot of things still identifiable today?

I understand. I used to not like to read either, but now I love it more than watching television.

I still haven't picked up on my reading again. I used to be a voracious reader. I've been spending several hours here and then working on jigsaw puzzles. Maybe when I'm done with the puzzles. I watch a lot of reality TV and movies and shows like Storage Wars, etc.

Maybe you could read some short stories online and see if you'd even like reading anymore. Sometimes people just grow out of it. I know I have in the past. I'm glad you seem to be enjoying your jigsaw's. I like shows like Storage Wars but I don't watch much tv because I don't want to end up like the rest of the family has and just watch tv all the time.
