Yeah I know, Ive been gone for a while. Mostly cause I didnt really anything to write about. So today, since im forced to stay home for the day, (due to possibly being exposed to a covid person), I decided to just write a post. Im now back at my seasonal welding job. It seems that almost every week someone has to be sent home for possible exposure. I almost had to go home two weeks ago, but i was deemed safe. My contact with the person was way under the 15 minute guideline and i was at a good distance beyond the 6 feet and i was covered in my face mask, gloves and welding jacket. (woo hoo! more than just welding gear, its my biohazard covid PPE !) Its getting really unbearable to be wearing a mask around here with the 100 degree plus summer weather. Its worse when im at walmart, lots more people, more humidity in the store. It gets really stuffy in there! I just go for what i need and get the f### out! As for the virus situation around here. . . its kinda bad. With infections spiking just across the border and to the east in nearby Arizona, a lot of people here are for some reason unnecessarily going to those areas. Infection numbers are climbing but what did you think was going to happen as more got tested and came out of quarantine. Last i saw, about 90% of the local population still is untested, so that is either really great news that 90% of the population is not sick, or bad news that a possible high percentage of the 90 is infected. My county is on Californias list of those severely hit by the virus. Arizona because they reopened a lot of businesses and mexicali because a lot of places of social interaction, like clubs, never closed. The lines to get into mexico are long! The guys from work who live there say it takes them at least 6 hours to cross but on fridays it can be almost midnight before they get home. They get out of work at either 3:30 or 5 pm. Its only about a 20 minute drive to the border. Overall im good and just lifeing. Photograph- Taken/Owned by me, Plethos

I just popped in today after awhile. Stay safe! Can’t imagine mask and your weather. Even so I’ve been hiding at home as much as I can or going to the market in/out (or curbside!)

I hope you are well. I had covid scare as well when my housemate ended up having positive result for it. Luckily she was asymptomatic and I had a negative result. But due to exposure I had 14 days paid vacation or jail time depending on how you look at isolation.

Happy you're well and poppin in for a visit. The virus is the last thing I fear, the reaction to it- that's a different story.
