Good morning, Hope you all are doing well. Last night I started to watch a new show on Netflix, called The Last Dance. The show covers the Chicago Bulls and Micheal Jordan. I covers the start of his career and the 6 championships the Bulls had in the 90's. I am finding it so interesting I think mostly cause I remember that time and the excitement that was around Chicago at that time. I lived just outside the city at the time and everything was about the Bulls and Jordan. I was never a basketball fan, I don't remember watching basketball before 1991. I have to admit I jumped on the bandwagon, but many did. How could you not watch Jordan. Every game was just exciting and fun to watch the games. The show is really bring back memories of those years. Some really good times in those years, from 1991 - 1998.

I was a huge Jordan fan, going all the way back to his days at UNC. As a big college basketball fan, I followed the Tarheels religiously back then. I thought Dean Smith was one of the best college coaches ever. So, naturally, I continued to follow Jordan when he went to the Bulls. I never really followed the NBA that much, but I do remember liking the Pistons back in the late 80s, but I jumped on the bandwagon and followed the Bulls through MJ's career. Such good memories. I was in college during the Bulls heyday.

@Bensen32 I was always impressed with how cool he was under pressure, like making that buzzer-beating shot to win the game was something he did all the time in his sleep. Every fan wanted to see the ball in MJ's hands at the end of the game.

I never heard of him really till I came back from the Marines in 1991. Coming back to Chicago area at that time was crazy. I had been gone for 5 years, when I left you really didn't hear a lot about Bulls or Jordan but when I came home it was all you heard about. At that time I drank and when you went to the bars it was always a bulls game on it seemed. I remember one of the first times I seen Jordan he had the ball and made this move and went around this guy making him look like a fool and jammed the ball home. I was like holy crap.

Yes, there are a lot of fans of the game here in the states. I never was what I would call a fan. I was a fan of Jordan though.

Reading your topic somehow reminds me of a movie called "Air Bud". It's a bout a smart dog that plays basketball.
