Health Journey 2020 - Day 205 | July 23rd

            It's hard to believe that there is only like a week left in the month.  This summer is flying by. 
Anyways, I am back to share my food/health journey post for the day.  
Weigh in - 
Remember, I started at 189.4
Yesterday - 175.2
Today - 174
Down another 1.2 pounds of water weight....2 pounds more and I will be at a new low. 
Not sure if that will happen tomorrow though (Friday) because I didn't stay extremely low carb today.
Blood sugars - 
Fasting - 152
Meal 1 - 154
Meal 2 - 232 (yikes)
Meal 3 - 119 
So....what did I eat? 
Meal 1 - 
Mild slim jim (jerky) (4 net carbs)
a few BBQ pork rinds  ( less than 1 carb)
1 protein chocolate chip cookie (4 net carbs) 
Meal 2 -  
Hamburger patty (0 carbs)
Slice of cheese (2 carbs)
2 slices of bread (30 carbs)
Ketchup & Mayo 
After the meal, I had one cheat snack as well - a smore's cupcake (20 net carbs I think)
Meal 3 - 
More of a snack as well - I had a "low carb" ice cream bar (6 net carbs)
I did work out after the high carb meal and before having my ice cream snack. So, that helped my sugar go from super high down to 119.
So - what were my numbers for the day?
Calories - 1,340
Protein - 66
Fat - 79
Net Carbs - 83
Sugar - 33 (I like to keep it under 10 grams)
Fiber - 11
Water - 32 OZ, need to work on that more
Workout minutes - 65 
Calories burned in workout - 543
Steps - 10,850
So definitely not the best day carb wise.  I definitely need to find some low carb bread, or make some.  
Anyways - what do you think of my day?  Also - how did you all do?

                    Keep trying.  You'll do very well if you keep at it.  I had a bowl of soup.

                            That's my trouble though, keeping at it.  I didn't eat low carb today, but I did work out.  Hope you enjoyed your soup

                            It definitely can be.  10 years ago I lost 75 pounds....but I was working out 3 hours or more a day. 
Well that is good that you worked out the next day, after enjoying food the night before!  
Hope your diet will go well if you do.
