I am not one to second guess what went through the minds of two teenage girls who were taking pictures of the waves in Freeport Texas as the arrival of Hurricane Hanna was coming. The two teenage girls were swept off of the jetty that they were standing on into the sea when four surfers which included 68 year old Johnny McGee and Thomas Saucedo as well as two other surfers teamed up to save the two teenage girls from drowning in the sea since it was rough enough to take them away from the shore. The teamwork of the four surfers to save the two teens from drowning is an amazing feat even though I am not sure if the beach in Freeport was open or should have been closed since Hurricane Hanna was on her way. Johnny as well as the three other surfers are happy to be at the right place at the right time when the two teen girls were saved from drowning at sea. Maybe next time the two teens will think twice of taking pictures of waves when a hurricane is coming.

Are those teen girls not aware of the impending hurricane? That's too dangerous to be out of the sea.

I remember a Mississippi state trooper who would talk to teens around the nation that some teens like to take chances in life by getting into trouble like going into danger zones. What bothers him is that some teens wind up losing their lives by tempting fate which broke his heart.

@Nakitakona You are right since the parents are the ones who suffer the loss big time.

@Deepizzaguy We know that teens are daring but they should be conscious of the safety for their lives.

Hopefully they will be more careful next time. Thank goodness the surfers were there to save their lives.

I am sure that the teens learned their lesson not to tempt Mother Nature.

Good news that they were rescued but silly girls should not have been there in the first place.

I am sure that the authorities warned everyone to stay away from the beaches when Hanna came.

Tourists keep getting washed off the rocks on our beaches too. Some don't have a lot of sense.

Some people do not heed the warnings from the authorities to stay away from hurricanes.

taking selfies in difficult positions like near a cliff is really dangerous.

I would avoid taking pictures in any danger zone since it is not worth dying for.
