A rescue of a dog that fell into Lake Michigan during a boat trip.

Kim and Nick Oberman are thankful that a couple who owns the Jacobson Marina in Frankfort Michigan named Lori and John Sayra were able to assist the Oberman family find their own year old female dog Roxy. The Oberman family were on their boat ride that started in Frankfort headed for Leland when they found out that their dog had jumped out of the boat without their knowledge on Saturday after the boat was on the lake. When the Oberman family requested help to find their lost dog, Lori Sayra and many volunteers went to try to find Roxy but the search came up empty for the day. When Sunday morning came, Lori walked two miles from the marina to search for Roxy who was found hiding in a bush near the seawall. Lori then picked up the female dog and took her back to her home to inform the Oberman family the good news that Roxy was found alive and in good spirits. The Sayra family then book Roxy back to her owners in Frankfort where the happy reunion happened. Roxy is being called a "Miracle Dog" since the lake was in a rough water mode and it was a miracle that Roxy swam two miles from she jumped overboard to get to the shore. Kim is happy that her dog is alive and well since Roxy was wearing a life vest when she jumped into the lake which saved her from drowning.
