Rebuilding sleep schedule.

Is there any advice for me to rebuild my sleep schedule?. I used to fall asleep right around 9 to 11 PM.But now because of this pandemic, I've been watching a lot of movies and at times I even watch movies 'till 3 AM and I don't even realize it. Now I'm having trouble to fall asleep and I would only fall asleep when it's past midnight. Is there any way I could go back to my old sleep schedule?.

You can try to read a book in bed. Sometimes I fall asleep doing that. Also, maybe try to go to sleep at the time you used to go to sleep pre-pandemic to get your body used to it. Do not get out of bed if you can't fall asleep. You may not fall asleep right away but eventually you will. if you keep doing it maybe that will work and you will get back to your regular schedule.

This Pandemic really mess-up a lot of people's sleeping pattern. Stop sleeping during the day and stop watching movies at night. Better yet, watch movies during daytime.

What would keep me awake too late at night would be if I were to comment to blogs and online forums after I normally go to bed. Watching movies at night doesn't keep me up too late. I don't work online after my bedtime because I want to get to sleep each night at a reasonable time. Smart.

If you try not to watch movies like an addict, you can get back your old sleeping schedules. Try some physical exercise that can help you to fall asleep

I've been doing some workouts during the day with the hope that I would be exhausted and fall asleep earlier, haven't seen any changes but I think I'm on the right track.

Try to go to bed the same time every night and stick to it. I’ve done it through the pandemic and before.

Maybe you can eat something that can make your stomach full. Usually the feeling of fullness will make people sleepy quickly.

I don't think I can do that because there are a lot of things that I do daily that requires an internet connection, maybe I should try to control myself from using the internet way too much past my bedtime. Thanks for the reply!.

You just need to push yourself to try sleep like usual, when the time to sleep come so go try to sleep, it's like a training and will become a habit, it will be hard to do first, maybe need a few days, weeks or maybe months for to back normal, but after that it will run like what you want.
