For as long as I can remember I’ve always been fond searching for four-leafed clover’s. This year I haven’t found one. That was until this evening when Little Miss and I went outside to play for a little while. I don’t know if it’s coincidence or if a stroke of good luck. But I had just said a prayer for my dear friend Rose who had surgery Wednesday and a second round of surgery today, when I look down I spy the four-leafed clover. And then I found another, and another, and I didn’t stop until I had picked 11 total. Little Miss did lose one of them. She also insisted on having one but she could keep for herself. So I ended up with a total of nine which is fine. When we came back inside I took out one of several books today having placing all of my clovers in. The one I chose was actually hard to find a page that didn’t have clovers pressed in it already. One day somebody’s going to find these books and say oh that’s where she put them all. So I’m hoping that today is truly a lucky day. I’ll continue praying for my friend and hope that she recovers from the surgeries.

That's pretty cool, and now she can continue the tradition you started.

She gets frustrated counting every leaf! I can’t wait to see her face when she finally finds one on her own!

That is great you found all of those four-leaf clovers. I believe I have found several in my life as well but didn't keep them. I will keep you friend in my prayers.

I know it can be addicting once you start looking for them. I have actually had people never look for one in their life and now they find it very therapeutic to look for them. Thank you for your prayers for my friend. She needs all that she can get.

Wow, I can't believe your stroke of good luck finding all those 4-leafed clovers! I sure hope that is a good sign. Does Little Miss enjoy helping you look for them?

She likes to look for them. Brought me a plant that had 4 leaves, but it wasn't a clover. Told her that she is on the right track though.

@ElusiveButterfly She is learning, so that is a good start. As least she got the leaf count right on the plant she brought you!

Do they really work as a lucky charm? I may start looking for one too if they do

I have thousands of them pressed inside many books. I am lucky in many ways of course. Maybe not the financial ways.

That's great you found so many four-leafed clovers at one time. I remember the day my grandmother visited. My mother's mother. We were in the back yard and she bent over and picked a four-leaf clover. I've never done so. Maybe one day I'll get lucky like you and my grandmother.

When I came upon the first one, I was just walking across the lawn, spotted it and picked it. The others were in close range of the first one. There are times when I can look for a long time and come up with nothing more than a backache! LOL.

@just4him me too. I can no longer sit down in a patch and search for them. Too hard on the knees to get back up again.

From my last conversation with her husband, she pulled through her 4th surgery with flying colors. No fever or signs of complications. She is still on the breathing vent, but may be weened off it today.
